Jordan Pines Extended Family | Sugden | Whitney Beth Photography
Big Cottonwood canyon in the fall is such a beautifully chaotic place to be. The Sudgen family starts in Kaysville and goes up to Morgan! They came all the way down to Jordan Pines to have me photograph them. How cool is that?! Camie told me that her daughter in law found my info and sent it over to me. When we were planning her shoot, Camie told me that she didn’t want fall colors and wanted green. With this being the start of fall that left us with looking for pines, and what better location than Jordan Pines? I was a bit surprised to see snow on the ground already, but it made the green pop that much more. We were quite the sight to see – between an ankle and shoulder surgery for mom and dad we switched from heels to crocks and made sure sleeves were down and braces off, all for the sake of the picture. I think it worked out pretty good! You’d never know! Camie does her own photography on the side and it was fun to think out loud and explain to her what I was doing to get the shot that I wanted – but most fun of all was seeing them be astonished at the amount of people taking photos in one location. If you’ve ever been to Jordan Pines during the fall, you know what I’m talking about. I always joke that it’s the only time I ever see my photo friends during busy season. Ha! During their ordering appointment, Camie picked out my glass folio box full of 5×7 prints and it turned out so cute! The perfect coffee table statement piece!
Jordan Pines is seriously gorgeous year round and I would love to take your photos here! Send me an email through my “book now” tab and we can start talking dates!
