Draper Extended Family Pictures | Kelson | Whitney Beth Photography
I love seeing these guys every year (and not just because they are family!) I feel like my repeat clients just get better and better every year. We know each other, they know the drill, we get some quality time spent together, it’s just a win-win! Scheduling extended family sessions can be tricky. Not only do you have your schedule and mine to coordinate between, but add in adults and smaller families within the big family and all I can say is the sooner you book your photoshoot and block off that date, the better.
The Kelson’s have lots to work around in the way of pictures. For instance we were dancing between a son in law getting home from deployment, a grandson going back to Kansas for the school year and the possibility of a fiance being added to the mix. (Spoiler alert, she said yes lol) After all of that we were left with literally one date that worked for everyone. I took the Kelson’s pictures at the wetlands park that is close to me. It is one of my favorite places to shoot and with the time restraint, was exactly what we needed. Everyone did so well (adults included haha) and we were able to zip through all the shots we needed in less than an hour. The light was so beautiful being filtered through the trees. We ended our shoot with the kids checking out the ducks near the pond. It was a really beautiful evening and I’m so glad we got so many great shots!
