Draper Anniversary Pictures | Moyle | Whitney Beth Photography
This is what 40 years look like! This is the third year in a row I’ve had DeAnn and John in front of my lens – only this time it was just them. These two celebrated 40 years of marriage this year and DeAnn wanted to commemorate and mark the occasion with some photos. (A girls after my own heart.) We met up for a quick mini session at the wetlands park near my house. It was a perfect evening and we were graced with beautiful fall colors and serenaded by ducks. Anniversary pictures might just be my favorite kind of “couple pictures” to photograph. Engagements are fun and you are so excited to be with your person, but when it’s an anniversary you guys know each other. You’re completely and 100% comfortable and yourself with your person. I love being able to capture it with my camera and help tell your story. Even though our session was short, it was filled with laughing and talking, catching up and getting so many photos. DeAnn ended up purchasing an album and putting all of these in the book. – Which works perfectly since the other two sessions she also got a book. Now she has the last three years of photoshoots in chronological order in a cohesive book series. I love it so much. One of my favorite, happy, coincidences is that the first picture I took is the exact same pose as one of their favorite wedding photos. Now they need to display them side by side to show the 40 years difference. How cute would that be?
