This year for their family photos, Rich and Sarah wanted to shoot at Daybreak Lake, which is very close to home. We had a beautiful evening together with gorgeous light and perfect weather. Baby girl had been staying with the Robbins for awhile and they wanted to include her in this years’ family pictures to commemorate their time together. It turned out so sweet.
With Daybreak Lake being as far west as it is, and pretty open, we had to shoot really close to sundown to get that glowy, golden light. We timed everything perfectly and got exactly that! Aside from a few photobombing ducks and having to shoot around kayakers, it was perfect! We shot on the east side of the lake that has a small dock so that we could have the sun back lighting them and have the water behind them as well. I think they turned out fantastic!
