This photoshoot was bittersweet. The Adams contacted me to photograph them in Utah before their big move. Their only request was; mountains. I told them I had the perfect spot for them to go – Albion Basin. True that 90% of the flowers were gone at this point, but you still can’t beat that view of the canyons below or the tall pine trees.
We met up on the day of the shoot and it was such an enjoyable evening getting up the mountain – if only for the lack of people alone! In the summer this place is inanely busy with everyone trying to make it up the mountain to enjoy the flowers. We hung out and walked all over the place, snapping pictures as we went. I think it was an excellent contribution to their, “farewell Utah” tour. When the photos were done and the Adams family had picked out what photos they wanted in the size they needed I was sad I wasn’t going to be able to see them for their next family picture session. They are such a fun family and I loved getting to spend time with them in the mountains. Enjoy some of my favorites from their session.
