Jordan River Extended Family Pictures | Stubbs | Whitney Beth Photography
The Stubbs family is just a testament to blogging. At the session I learned that Darren (one of Linda’s sons) had stubbled across my blog years ago when he was looking up baptism ideas for his daughter. Fast forward to this year when the boys were figuring out what to get their mom for mothers day and they settled on photos. Darren had my website bookmarked in his phone for years! So they wrote an email and the rest is history.
The family wanted a location near their South Jordan home, I don’t shoot on the west side very often, but that meant I got to go location scouting! It’s one of my favorite activities to do with my kids. I have driven across the Jordan River trail dozens of times, so it was fitting that I finally got out and got to explore the area.
It worked wonderfully! Especially with the lack of tree cover, since it ended being a pretty windy and overcast day. The Stubbs family was great and so much fun to photograph. I’m sure the kids would’ve rather been anywhere else, but they were troopers and put up with all my crazy games. I love how this session turned out and can’t wait for their prints to get back to me from the lab!
