SLC Missionary Homecoming | Thomas | Whitney Beth Photography
He’s home! After two years my little brother is back form Oaxaca, Mexico (with a short stint in North and South Carolina.) Thomas is number 6 of 10 in the Jones family. We are officially on the downhill slope! Thomas got home Wednesday the 3rd, which seems like forever ago given everything we’ve packed into the days with all the Jones kids here. Yep, all 10 of us were in one place at one time and it was awesome!
Thomas’ plane was set to land at 4:20 (lol) but since my mom has no chill she and the rest of the family hitching a ride with her and dad left a little after 3. I left closer to 3:30/45. which was a good thing I didn’t try and wait any later, because when I got to the airport and met my family at the meeting area, Thomas’ plane had already landed and was beginning to unload! With the way things have been lately regarding airplanes I was not expecting that! Everyone had made signs to welcome him home with. Our family always likes to make gag signs (It started with Austin coming home when I made a sign that says, “go back” haha) So my boys were pretty excited to join in on the fun with their “Our favorite uncle is home!” sign – they have 14 uncles. haha! Half of which were there!
It’s been so good to have Tommy home! No one is more excited than mom! I thought she was going to jump over the crowd of people to get to him! I’m glad we were able to meet him at the airport, welcome home Tommy boy.
