Albion Basin Family Photos | Sorber | Whitney Beth Photography
I love it when I work with a client that I instantly click with. Mari’s inquiry email sold me on them the second she mentioned wildflowers. If that wasn’t enough to get me to love them, at our pre-consultation she asked if I had ever heard of Albion Basin (!!!) because she wanted to capture the feel and essence of a painting by Morgan Castiel of a photograph by my friend Lori Romney. Lori is an amazing photographer I admire and I have a few paintings by Morgan in my home. Match made in heaven.
Not only were we off to an amazing start, but they didn’t even wince at the suggestion of a sunrise shoot. In fact, they even beat me up the mountain! We had a wonderful morning and nearly the whole hillside to ourselves. It was perfect. These guys reignited my love for the mountains covered in wildflowers all over again. The kids were amazing and we had the best time playing games and looking at moose. It was a dream – that is until I got home and saw how many photos I had taken. whoops! This may have been my worst overshooting moment ever. But can you blame me?! The Sorbers are some of the kindest and sweetest people you will meet and I loved being able to photograph their family.
If you’d like photos here, get on my email list or send me a message through my contact form and I’ll keep you informed for next year.
