My Oregon 10 Year Anniversary Pictures | Whitney Beth Photography
This year Danny and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been that long, and at the same time, only been that long! Technically our anniversary was in May, but with a nursing baby, we decided to postpone our trip until summer. By the time we were able to figure out what days Danny could get off, we realized it was the only time he’d be able to get off during summer vacation. Which would mean that we wouldn’t get to do our summer trip with the kids if we went off on a couples trip. So we decided to take the whole family with us on our 10th anniversary trip and postpone again for when school started up. On the off chance we weren’t able to go anywhere during warm weather season, I still booked a photoshoot for Danny and I at the coast.
I ended up booking with Define Motion who I actually knew from growing up in Oregon! We met once when we were “sisters” during a pioneer trek reenactment. Francesca knows my family that is still out in Oregon. It was so fun to catch up and talk shop during our shoot. The fog was perfect and misty and encapsulated the feel of Oregon Coast. We shot at the beach by Mo’s that I would go to as a kid. We left my grandma’s house that day with the high of being 100 and ended up being greeted by 61 degree weather! It was so refreshing. By the end of the shoot we were chilled and so were the boys who had been playing in the sand with my cousin while we were photographed. So we packed up and warmed up with some clam chowder and hot chocolate. The perfect end to our beach day.
