Three Utah Locations I’m Loving | Whitney Beth Photography | Utah Family + Senior Photographer
Summer is on the downhill slope, with school starting in just a few weeks. (I’m not ready!) I’ve been lucky enough to work the perfect amount this summer and found myself gravitating towards three locations. Lucky for you, they stay beautiful for a lot longer than just summer!
I can’t talk about my summer shoots without mentioning this magical place! It has all of my favorite things; pine trees, wildflowers and mountain views. Albion Basin is one of the places that made me fall in love with Utah when I was less than thrilled about moving here.
2. Little Cottonwood Canyon
This location is relatively new to my arsenal – I started shooting here about a year ago and it has quickly climbed the ranks as one of my favorites. You just can’t beat that meadow look and whimsical aspen trees. And it gets better too! In the fall the trees turn bright yellow and the ferns that blanket the ground change to an electric yellow as well.
This location just speaks to me with all the green! The Russian Olive trees (although an invasive species, whoops!) Have the most perfect sage green undertones among the cool colored greens. Mix that with the meadow and golden hour and I’m dead. So pretty. It’s also one of the last locations to “die” for the winter, so we can still get “green” looks well into October.
See a location you’d like to shoot at? Send me a message through my “book now” link and we can start talking shop! I’d love to photograph you there!
