Easy Picture Pranks For April Fools | Utah Family + Senior Photographer
Time to start prepping for April Fools Day! I love doing pranks that involve pictures. It not only combines two of my loves, but also dials in the prank to make it that much more personalized. If you saw Monday’s post, you already have a whole arsenal at your disposal.
Today I want to walk you through a few more that I thought of/found. Best part? You can do all the prep work from your phone!
Let’s start off with the easiest one; a stinky surprise!
Step 1: take a picture of someone making a surprised or smelly face
Step 2: Remove the background so that it is only your subject. (Open the picture in the app “In Shot” or any other photo editing app that can remove the background.)
Step 3: Send that puppy to print! (Computers paper works fine)
Step 4: Tape the piece of printer paper to the inside of your toilet seat. Think of the seat like a picture frame.
Step 5: Close the lid and wait for someone to use the bathroom!
Next up, we’re taking it to the streets! … er driveway!
Step 1: Hop into the driver side of the car you want to prank, have your subject get in the back.
Step 2: Position your subject so that you can see them in the rear view mirror
Step 3: take a picture of the mirror with your subject in focus. (Try not to get your phone in the picture)
Step 4: Remove the background and print out only the mirror.
Step 5: Cut out your subject – you can include seat head rests and car seats too if you want.
Step 6: Tape it to the rear view mirror and wait for your victim to get in the car. When they check their rear view mirrors they’ll be met with a stowaway!
And the last one; hanging on for dear life!
Step 1: Take a picture of your subject from the vantage point of the side mirror. Have your subject hanging off the handle of the door.
Step 2: Pull you photo into In Shot and remove the background – leaving only the car and person.
Step 3: Once the background has been removed, flip the image so that it is mirrored. (When the driver looks in the mirror it needs to match up with what they’d be seeing.)
Step 4: Print out your picture (computer paper is fine!)
Step 5: Cut out your image
Step 6: line it up with the mirror and mark where it needs to be trimmed.
Step 7: Trim it up and tape it to the mirror
Now when your buddy is driving their car and look into the side mirror it looks like they’ve got someone hanging on for dear life!
If you do any of these, tell me! April Fools is my favorite holiday and I love spreading the cheer a fun prank can bring.
