At the start of my maternity leave I was worried I wasn’t going to have room to fit everyone in my schedule. I decided to try out adding on mini sessions to the start of full sessions. The mini session client would get 20 minutes and whatever location the full session client decided on. The session fee would be cut in half with the ordering appointment like always. The Zieglers were my first client (and return client at that!) to take me up on it. I have to say, with how smoothly everything went I think this new way of doing things might stick around!
I shot their family pictures just over two years ago. In fact, they were my first client back from maternity leave after having Remmy. This time they booked me after I had come back from leave after having Wells! Since they were at the mercy of the full session client (so to speak) they didn’t have a say in location – which ended up being the same location we shot their first session two years ago at! Thanks to the seasons changing, their session up Little Cottonwood Canyon is full of fall colors while the other ones are very summery. It was so fun hanging out with them again and seeing how much the kids have grown! Check out some of my favorites from their shoot!
