Kuwahara Pumpkin Patch | Robbins | Whitney Beth Photography
Although I’m not quite ready for summer and the green to go away, nothing starts getting me in the holiday spirit like going to the pumpkin patch! I’ve been taking my family to Kuwahara since Jones was a baby – that’s 7 years now! It’s one of my favorite traditions. I just love that they have greenhouses full of pumpkins to pick. It gives great lighting and shields us from the sun (great for photos) and the boys love seeing how they are decorated every year. It’s also my favorite tradition to put the baby in the pumpkins! Usually it’s a hot mess and I save it for the end, but surprisingly enough, Wells didn’t seem to mind. In fact he pretty much stayed asleep! I had to wake him up to get any of him looking at the camera. Such a good little trooper! We let the kids pick out their own pumpkins – the only rule is they have to be able to carry it. Ha! Jones always and without fail goes for the biggest one he can lift. Foo and Rem are partial to the “baby pumpkins” and choose the cute little ones. I grab a few for my porch and call it an afternoon. Although, even after we had all picked our pumpkins, I had to keep an eye on Remmy. He kept trying to sneak a few dozen into the wagon every chance he got! We love coming here and now fall can officially begin!
