Patriotic Family Pictures | Morris | Whitney Beth Photography
We were literally racing a windstorm for these photos and they were 100% worth it. I drove up to Corrine, Utah for the Morris family’s photoshoot. Amanda told me about this giant American flag mural in their town and how she wanted to do family pictures there. I drove up early so we could catch up and our kids could play. As we sat there chatting, Josh asked if we were going to miss the storm. We looked outside to see a giant wall of clouds coming towards us. So like the troopers they all are we moved up the photoshoot by an hour (aka to that second) and scrambled to get girls in outfits and makeup done. The wind was crazy and by the end of the shoot it was raining. We shot for 20 minutes and got everything we needed – even Odie the dog came and was as happy as ever to be out in the excitement! Josh even drove his patrol car to the shoot and we included it in a handful of photos! I’m loving how these turned out, wind blown hair and all! Check out my favorites from that day below.
