One of my (many) favorite parts to my job is hearing how people found me. Google is a nice little pat on the back for my SEO skills, but referrals from friends and clients are so flattering! Sarah found me through a family friend (Sonja) that attended the same church that my family did back in Oregon! Sonja and her family moved out to Utah a few years after our family did. But before the move she met and befriended Sarah – who in turn moved to Utah pretty recently. Sarah needed photos to document their new life out in Utah as well as senior pictures for her eldest. Sonja gave my contact info to Sarah and the rest is history! We planned the shoot at one of my favorite locations that looks so green and lush this time of year. We spent the evening walking around, photographing and cracking jokes to get the kids loosened up and relaxed for photos. Sarah has the cutest kids and they did so well for their photos! I loved capturing their dynamic and relationships. At the end of the family portion of the shoot the younger three were so happy to be done and ran off to the playground before I could say, “one more shot” haha! Then we got to spend some time making senior magic and used up the rest of the light. I’m so happy I got to meet them and take their pictures!
