Jones turning 7 feels a lot like when I turned 27, no longer just “in my 20’s” but practically 30. 7 is pretty much 10 and then the next thing I know Jones is moving out and going to college. It’s fine, I’m fine. I like to take each of my kids out for a little one on one time and take their birthday portraits. To make it fun for both of us, I let them help pick out their outfits and choose a location. This year, Jones wanted the park that I took his little brother’s birthday pictures at last year in Holladay. We waited for a free, sunny evening and luckily didn’t freeze. It was beautiful, and I’m happy to say that it gets easier to take pictures of my kids as they get older (despite being 7 months pregnant.) I have flash backs to being pregnant with Banks and chasing down a rogue Jones through an apple orchard. This time was much smoother. Haha! I’m so proud of my little Jonesy, he is such a good big brother, friend and person. Happy 7th birthday Jones!
