Full disclosure, I had this blog post set to publish on the 17th, but then my niece (pictured) went into labor on the 15th and had baby boy on the 16th! I stopped the auto publishing on this to wait until baby had been announced by his proud parents on the internet. I’m so happy he’s here and that I’m a great aunt (again!) Congratulations Tianna and Wyatt!
Tianna was glowing the night of her maternity pictures! I have a special soft spot for her since she’s my niece and I’ve been photographing her for the past 10 years I’ve been in the family. We were able to have some awesome aunt/niece bonding time up Little Cottonwood canyon at one of my favorite places to be surrounded by aspens.
Ti originally asked if there were wildflowers out for her shoot, but it was pretty early in the season for them to be in bloom. We got lucky and found a small patch of daisies just for her! Ti was brave and wore heels as we tromped around the meadow. It started getting windy and cloudy and it started to thunder just as we were finishing up. We timed it perfectly and had a good mix of golden and diffused light. so dreamy. I’m so excited for you to be a mom, Tianna!
