Tibble Fork Reservoir Family + Senior Photos | Drebing | Whitney Beth Photography
So much excitement went into this shoot! It was an honor to be the photographer for the Drebing’s first professional photoshoot! I’ve known these guys since we moved into our house about 7 years ago. They are some of our awesome neighbors. During the pre consultation for Eric’s senior pictures, they mentioned how they had never had family pictures professionally taken. I casually mentioned that if they wanted to bring the whole family up, we could do family pictures and senior pictures at the same shoot. Lucky for me they took me up on it! Even agreeing to bring their furry family member, Maisy.
Eric is an incredible mountain biker and was on the team at Alta High School. We wanted a location where we could showcase his talents and love – and also a location that is dog friendly. Tibble Fork Reservoir fit the bill! We met at the main parking lot, and then I hitched a ride with them as I directed where to go to get to the equestrian parking lot. Tibble Fork is such a classic look, but it is usually crowded on weekends – with a pup and mountain bike in tow, I wanted us to have room to stretch out. The equestrian lot is perfect for this! Same great views of Timp, but hardly any other people and plenty of trails to bike.
It was a perfect evening. The light was beautiful, the company excellent and the photos amazing. The Drebings brought along grandma and grandpa to hold a leash when Maisy wasn’t in the shot, so at the end I sprung it on them to have a picture taken with Eric. They’re good sports and it turned out so cute! I had the best time ever with these guys! So honored to be the one to photograph their family and Eric’s senior pictures! He’s going to do great things in life!
