Jordan Pines Senior Session | Lily | Whitney Beth Photography
Senior pictures with Lily was a dream! We shot up Jordan Pines in Little Cottonwood Canyon. It was a cold and chilly day, but luckily Lily came prepared and wore the cutest red sweater that was poppin’ against the green pine trees. It was nice going later in the winter season so we didn’t have to worry about poor roads or fresh snow that hadn’t been packed down. The only downside with this is that it’s like playing Russian Roulette when walking off trail. I can’t count how many times I sunk into snow. I like to pride myself on never having fallen during a photoshoot, but this session had me worried I was going to break that streak. ha. Lily handled the snow so gracefully that she makes it look warm! I was so happy to find a hidden pocket of light in a tunnel of trees. We stayed there a good chunk of the session and the sunlight made the snow look like glitter! (Always my favorite part of snow sessions) Lily goes to Alta High and we discovered during the shoot, that she knows my little sister! I had a blast working with her and I can’t wait for her prints to be done at my labs so I can see her again. Check out Lily’s favorites from her session!
