Studio Gloss Portraits | Robbins | Whitney Beth Photography
A few weeks ago I tried out a new studio in Provo. It’s called Studio Gloss. I used it to photograph my foster niece, and since I was down there, I thought I’d have a bit of fun with my younger boys and take some pictures of them since Jones was in school.
With it being my first time at this studio, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I saw on their Instagram page that they had lots of props, colorful walls and tons of backdrops to choose from. But I can’t tell you how happy I was to find out that this studio also had lights! It was especially useful on the day of the shoot since it was dark and rainy all day.
I ended up using the artificial lights for the entire session. It was so nice to not have to stress about how dark it was or how much I was going to have to bump my ISO to keep up with my quick kids.
This was also Remmy’s first shoot where he did the majority of the sitting all by himself. Fields decided to only be in a few pictures and the session nearly turned into a 6 month Remmy shoot! It was nice to have my boys there to let me play and try out the new space. With all the background options, I think it would be a perfect place to try out some studio senior sessions!
Even though I split the time between my boys and my foster niece, we were able to get plenty of photos of my boys! The colors are popping and I love them! A few of them might just have to make it up to the gallery wall!
