White Space Extended Family Photos | Jones | Whitney Beth Photography
I’m excited to share with you a special tradition in my family – taking our own extended family pictures every year. We took them at White Space Studios in Sandy, Ut. As the oldest of 10 siblings, this tradition is a labor of love. It’s a lot of work, but I love being able to watch my family grow year after year.
We recently took our 2023 family pictures on December 30th, squeaking in as our family pictures for the year. This year we weren’t able to get everyone there. My younger sister Hailey is currently on a mission in Florida, and my brother Robert and his wife Olivia couldn’t make it out from Oregon. Despite their absence, we were able to document our family as best we could.
Using a remote control and tripod, I took the pictures myself, something I do every year. It’s always a bit of a challenge to coordinate everyone’s schedules, but we make it work. This year, we had to time the pictures with when my sister Julie and her husband, Mitch, were in town. They literally drove to the studio from the airport. It was a whirlwind, but we managed to capture some beautiful photos together and I’m already planning 2024’s family pictures.
