Most people know me as a family and senior photographer, but I actually do product photos on the side and during “slow season.” I’ve been working with Level 1 Armory since they first started up and they are one of my favorite brands I get to photograph! Chase makes all of his wooden swords in his workshop. This new line that he made are his modular swords. The idea is that you can customize the hilt of your sword to make it however you want it to look like! He also introduced some new pre-colored swords. As a mom of boys, these are always a big hit at my house! They come with kits of paint so you can decorate your sword however you please. With the new product launch, I had the privilege of coordinating and planning a shoot involving four models. When I tell you that I never have to worry about finding models for this company, I mean it! The same day I posted the model call I closed it a couple of hours later with more than enough to choose from. We shot at the home of a family friend – which was perfect to showcase indoor and outdoor play. I think everyone’s favorite part was when we shot on the trampoline. I basically orchestrated one giant playdate for an hour! I took hundreds of photos for Level 1 Armory to use in marketing, website and social media use – but to spare you on scrolling forever, I’ve thrown together a handful of my favorite shots from the day. Does this not look like the coolest toy ever?!
