Utah State Capital Senior Pictures | Teryn | Whitney Beth Photography
Ready for the blossom flood gates to open? We are now entering the part of my client feature queue where the majority of my sessions are at the blossoms at the Utah State Capital. And for all the editing and people dodging we had to do to get these shots, it was worth it! Spring took it’s sweet time in showing up this year and the blossoms took the heat for it. (Or lack of.) They were late to bloom, but went out right on time. Leaving only about a week of peak bloom as opposed to the previous years’ 2 week hang around time. Luckily my clients are champs and throughout all the rescheduled shoot days all of them were able to get their turn in the blossoms.
Teryn’s mom booked her this session, and despite her insisting she didn’t “need” photos, I’m so glad she stuck with it! They turned out beautiful and I loved getting to hang out with her as we walked the capital grounds. She looked so good in her dress and fish nets! I also loved how she was representing her wood working class with her hoody from school. (We bonded over power tools and our love of making.) Teryn is such a beautiful person and it was the best time getting to know her and help document her senior year!
