This was the Torres family’s first winter in Utah! They recently moved up from California and wanted to commemorate their first winter out here. While talking with Teresa, she told me she wanted an iconic, snowy, Utah location. So what better place than Jordan Pines! It was beautifully cold that day with a light sprinkling of snow that showed up magically in the photos. However, it was much to cold for the poor little boys who were used to California weather and they instantly started to cry once we got outside. I pulled out all the tricks and my little bunny buddy even made his debut in a few pictures. After 20 minutes, Marco and Teresa were ready to call it. We bundled the boys back up and started walking to the car. I kept assuring them that we got some great shots – but I could tell they didn’t believe me. It wasn’t until their viewing and ordering appointment that they saw what I got. They were shocked that I got so many photos where the boys weren’t crying and even smiling! That’s the best feeling ever! So even though it was freezing and the session only lasted 20 minutes, I was able to get more than enough photos and the Torres family ended up purchasing an album of their favorites along with some wall art.
