Sandy Studio Christmas Minis | Wallace | Whitney Beth Photography
It was so great to see the Wallace family again! I actually photographed Gabby’s senior pictures last year – in this very studio! So it was awesome to get the whole family in front of the lens. If you’ve ever done mini session days you know it is a hectic few hours of stacked sessions, one of top of the other. I always tell my clients to get there about 10 minutes early. These guys were troopers and got there around 15/20 minutes early! In fact, since they were all together and I was currently waiting in a “dead space” (aka no one had booked the slot two above them) and my next client was running a tad late since they had to come from up north, we started shooting right then and there. It was a perfect storm. Not to mention it gave my next client a chance to breathe and make any last minute prep for their little kiddos.
We did a lot of running back and forth between the red and green walls that were on opposite sides of the room, but it was fun and got the younger kids excited and into the groove of photos. Every time I have a mini session I’m amazed at what I can get in 10 minutes. I like to attribute it to my Lifetouch Target Portrait Studio days where every session was only allowed 10 minutes in the camera room. I love how these turned out and am so happy we got to work together again!
