If you’ve ever filled out my contact form from my “book me” tab, you’ll know that I have a few questions for you to fill out before we get to the message. One of those things is, “how did you hear about me?” This helps me know which marketing lane is working and pulling its weight. Well, when I opened the inquiry from the Millers, Max had written, “You used to babysit me.” And if that doesn’t make me feel old, I don’t know what does! hahaha! But honestly that’s been my favorite response. Back when we both lived in Oregon and I was a teenager I used to babysit Max and his little brother, John. And to be fair, I am only a few years older than him (I think like 3 lol).
I’m proud to say that Max grew up and got married to Maddy, the cutest and kindest person you will meet, and together they had the sweetest boys. I absolutely loved hanging out with the Millers. With how young the kids are, there was lots of running around and chasing during the shoot, which makes for all sorts of wonderful photos. We played lots of games and ran all over the meadow. They had complete trust in me which in turn resulted in stunning portraits of their family. I love love love these photos and am so happy they trusted me to capture them.
